Our new website is live — built to be accessible to everyone, with Easy Read mode, text-to-speech and high contrast options.

We are delighted to launch the new website of the Welsh Centre for Learning Disability Inclusive Research (WCLD).

A website for everyone

Our organisation is directed by people with learning disabilities, disabled and neurodivergent people. Our website had to live up to the same standard. That is why this site has been built with accessibility at its heart:

  • Easy Read mode — switch to simpler words, bigger text and clearer layouts using the "Read Easy Version" button at the top of every page

  • Listen to any page — the "Listen to Page" button reads the content aloud

  • An accessibility menu — change the text size, use high contrast colours, a dyslexia-friendly font, or reduce animations

  • Bilingual — every page can be read in English or Welsh

Tell us what you think

This website is for you. If something is hard to use or hard to read, we want to know — that is how we make it better. Send us a message and tell us what works and what does not.

Any money we make from our activities goes to support our work. We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company.
